Kelly Kreider, MSW
Welcome! I am passionate about working with children, adolescents, and families that are experiencing trauma symptoms and disruptive behaviors. I work in partnership with the client in order to meet their therapeutic goals and live a more holistically healthy life.
I strive to create a safe and supportive environment for my clients, where we work together to meet the goals you have set. I work from a client-centered and trauma-informed approach, primarily focusing on root issues causing disruptive behaviors. I believe each person is unique, so I do not use a one-sized-fits-all approach, but will work with you using a variety of therapeutic techniques that fits your needs.
I started my social services career in 2014 when I spent time in 11 different countries, working in numerous non-profits assisting children and families in crisis/with trauma histories. I settled in Zambia, Africa, for a year, and managed a Children’s Home there. Throughout working across many cultures, I became passionate about helping children and families experiencing trauma. I desired to further my education to work with this population on a therapeutic level. When I returned to the States in 2019, I went on to complete both my Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work degrees from Roberts Wesleyan University. During my education and since, I have worked at local agencies providing trauma services to children and their families.
Kelly is currently private pay, with the option to utilize Excellus Commercial Plans beginning in the Fall of 2024. Please reach out for rate information.
